Video marketing is one of the most important ways to promote yourself and your business. It needn't be a stressful or time-consuming exercise if you just follow the simple guidelines in this Network Marketing Help article.

• Change your mindset: Get rid of the idea that you are a film star or trying to film a Hollywood blockbuster! You are creating a short marketing video.
• Create videos people want to see: Offer valuable content or advice or at least do some research to make sure that what you are offering is a solution to a genuine need.
• Keep the video length at 5 -10 min: People don't have time to watch long videos. Opt to release shorter videos more frequently as this will give you better exposure.
• Keep the production time to a minimum: A 5-10 minute product shouldn't take longer than half an hour to produce. If it is, you are probably going for some perfectionist feel when you shouldn't be.
• Know what it is you want to say: Ditch the script and just say what you want to say in natural conversational way.  
• Don't overload the information: Try not to give people more than three important pieces of information per video as they won't remember more than that.
• Instead of a script use this simple template: Tell them what you are going to tell them; tell them and then tell them what you told them.
• Know what you want them to do after your video: Include a call to action. This can be anything from following your advice, looking at a website or filling their details in on a form. Whether they do this or not does not matter, you still have to tell them what you want them to do.
